Jordi and Claudia have established an excellent creative context for the discipline of intaglio. The first floor print studio is equipped with an astounding inventory of presses and hand tools, supplies, inks, papers and other items that offer a vast array of possibilities. The upper floor provides artists in residence with spacious living quarters with a beautiful view of the Meditteraen seacoast and Areyns du Mar. Full bathroom and kichen facilities are there for the residents use.
Last summer I brought my wife and teenage daughter to ArtPrint Resdence for a residency of two weeks. They were footloose to tour the area by train from daytrips to Barcelona to the Coasta Brava. During the residency, I was then free to spend my workdays on a woodcut block which will be coupled with hand reduction screenprinting. My time with Jordie and Claudia was a delightful experience. They were such thoughtful and gracious hosts, providing private transportation to and from the train station, supermarkets, and other shops.
I highly recommend ArtPrint Residence to any print artist wishing for a near perfect haven fir a working vacation.
